Sensation Ride™ Treeless Saddle Warranty

Nickers Saddlery Ltd. will repair or replace (at our option) your saddle free of charge for a period of 12 months from date of purchase if the saddle is defective in workmanship or materials to the degree that the saddle is unsafe, or unusable. 

To obtain service under this warranty the original purchaser or representing dealer must contact Nickers Saddlery Ltd. immediately upon realization of a defect. Purchaser may be required to provide photos and details prior to return.

In addition to our 1 year warranty, Nickers Saddlery Ltd. offers a 3 year maintenance warranty as follows: One time per year for three consecutive years after initial purchase the original owner may return their Sensation Ride saddle to our facility in Penticton, B.C. for a cleaning, conditioning, restuffing, inspection for safety and certification of inspection. 

Shipping costs of saddle to and from Nickers Saddlery Ltd. are the responsibility of the purchaser and details of ship method shall be provided to purchaser prior to shipping. Failure to contact Nickers Saddlery Ltd. prior to shipping may result in a refused shipment, or additional charges.

Nickers Saddlery Ltd. shall not be held responsible for saddles, defective or not, that have been tampered with, altered or misused in any way. This includes, but is not limited to: using the saddle on a horse which is not of an approved shape, usage under a rider with a weight greater than 200 pounds, usage of “free swing” stirrup outside of recommended parameters, using the saddle directly on an a horse’s back or without recommended padding, removing any component in the saddle without prior advisement directly from Nickers Saddlery Ltd. or where there is visible inappropriate use of the saddle in any way.

Nickers Saddlery ltd. advises purchasers that the nature of leather is such that it may have healed scars, brands, insect bites or color variations which give leather its distinctive character. This character of leather cannot be predicted and is in no way considered a defect in workmanship. Fresh cuts, deep scrapes or tears may occur during the shipping process and should be reported immediately.

Returns for Orders placed through a  Sensation Ride™ Dealer

If there is an issue with the items you have received and/or you have questions about your items, please contact the Sensation Ride™ Dealer you placed your original order with. They will be happy to help you with any questions you have.

If there is an item that you would like to return or exchange for any reason, please contact your Sensation Ride™ Dealer first. We are unable to accept returns directly from customers who have ordered through a Sensation Ride™ Dealer.

Returns for Orders placed directly through Nickers Saddlery

If there is an issue with the items you have received and/or you have questions about your items, please contact Nickers Saddlery.  We will be happy to help you with any questions you have.

If there is an item you would like to return or exchange, please contact us to obtain an authorization number. Unauthorized returns will be refused. There is a 5% restocking fee on all returns made within 10 days of receipt of the item, and 10% on returns made within 11-30 days, unless an exchange is being made.  Items must be in new, unused condition. Shipping and handling costs will not be refunded. Consumable items are a final sale. There are no returns or exchanges accepted after 30 days of original purchase.

Items on sale are final sale.

Deposits

We do not require the full amount of the saddle up front. We require a deposit of $300 to secure the order in the production line. The final amount of the saddle will be due before the saddle is shipped. The saddle order will not be secured until a deposit is paid. In the event of a cancellation or return, the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Changes

If you have placed a saddle order but wish to change details, the order will be subject to a change fee of $35 after production has begun (roughly 3 weeks before estimated completion date). The $35  fee only applies to saddle details or add-ons for the saddle and does not apply when adding or subtracting accessories on the order. 

Shipping

All orders within Canada will be shipped Canada Post or DHL unless otherwise requested.  A tracking number will be sent to the email you provided during check out. Nickers Saddlery Ltd. shall not be held responsible for delayed shipments once they have left the building for any reason.

Please be aware that import fees and taxes are never included in the shipping quotes as these amounts are determined by customs once the package enters the destination country. Nickers Saddlery Ltd. and it's associates have no control over additional fees charged to the customer after a package leaves our facility. 

 Please remember to check over all your tack for safety every time before you ride!
